KairOS
A type 1 diabetes companion for the phone, the watch and the web.
KairOS shows not only where glucose is, but where it is going. It reads the sensor directly and draws an eight-hour forecast from the reading and its trend, the insulin still active and the carbohydrate still being digested.
It learns from every meal and correction, so the forecast fits the person wearing the sensor rather than a textbook average.
what it does
- 01
An eight-hour forecast
A curve of where glucose is heading, worked out from active insulin, digesting carbohydrate and activity. Fat and protein in a meal are given their own slower curve.
- 02
Straight from the sensor
Connects to Dexcom G7 and FreeStyle Libre 2 and 2 Plus sensors over Bluetooth, with no other app in between.
- 03
Settings that learn
Suggests insulin sensitivity and carbohydrate ratio from the wearer's own history, so settings can be reviewed against what actually happened.
- 04
On the wrist
A Wear OS app, tile and watch face. The watch can connect to the sensor on its own, so the phone can stay at home.
- 05
In the browser
A web dashboard and reports that run the phone's own forecast code, so the curve on the screen matches the curve in the hand.
